In the past, we have had GEM Teaching Meetings ~4 days before the event to discuss the curriculum and for teachers to make a plan with their undergraduate volunteers and the other teacher(s) in their room.

Last year, these meetings weren't very well attended, so I'm not sure if there's a demand for these. (I'm happy to facilitate these if you'd like, but I'm also fine with removing these meetings if you'd prefer, and could give you the contact info for your undergraduate volunteers if you'd like to reach out directly.)

Would you like me to schedule GEM Teaching Meetings this Fall? If so, please let me know your preference for days/times and any other comments you may have about these.

Would you be open to sharing a classroom with another school and teacher?

(Our classrooms have capacity ~30 - 50, so if schools have less than this, then we sometimes group them together. We also have 12-person seminar rooms available, so this could also be an option if you have a small group and don't want to share a room.) *

I normally print all worksheets for the students. However, some teachers prefer to modify the worksheets and print them themselves. In the past, we have run GEM sessions in both Fall and Winter, however, at this time, we only have two Fall sessions planned. Later in the semester, I will let you know if we plan to run GEM in the Winter as well.

Note that we won't be doing T-Shirts this semester. (Our budget is a bit tight this year!)
