Community Talks - COVID-19 and Community Engagement with K-12 Schools - September 30
Groundswell is excited to launch an event series designed specifically for our community partners! Community Talks will provide learning and networking opportunities around a variety of topics, drawing on expertise from GVSU and the College of Education.

Our first Community Talk will share behind-the-scenes information about how school reopening decisions are being made. This talk features Dr. John Shinsky, the Associate Dean of Community Impact and a Professor of Educational Leadership. He has been working closely with area school districts and ISDs on their response to COVID-19 and helping them develop safe reopening plans. Join us to learn more about this process, how it impacts community engagement with K-12 schools, and how the College of Education can support your work with schools.
