Interested in building a real airplane? Want to learn what it takes to build an experimental aircraft? The Build A Plane 2020 project is a 3 day hands-on day camp where students learn about piston, jet and rocket engines, have an opportunity to use tools to bend, cut, wire and learn techniques (flaring, tubing, burring) . It includes a museum tour and an aviation/aerospace company tour, a chance to meet aviation professionals, and to work on a Zodiac plane. Open to students 8th-12th grade. Seats are limited to 20. Sign up and confirm your seat. The deadline is: May 1st, 2020. The Camp will be held at the Carson City Airport.
