I am volunteering to work for Save Our Swinging Bridge 5k Run-Walk and 2K Family Walk, held in Topsham & Brunswick, Maine. The official date of the event is Sunday, April 19; 2019; however, this release covers the entire period of working on the 5k including the Set-Up and Tear-Down for this event.I understand that I will receive no payment for my services. In addition, I understand that I am not an employee and that I will not be entitled to and will not receive any Workers’ Compensation benefits or other similar payments under the law in the event I am injured.I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Save Our Swinging Bridge.Org (a 501(c)3 nonprofit) and the organizations that are sponsors of this event from any claim for personal injuries or other damages or equity arising out of my activities with the event.I, having read the waiver and understand these facts, and in consideration of your accepting my entry, I, for myself and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, waive and release the Save Our Swinging Bridge.Org, Towns of Topsham and Brunswick, Bar Harbor Bank & Trust, Fore River Management, Priority Real Estate Group, and all sponsors, sponsor representatives, and successors from any claims or liabilities or causes of action of any kind arising out of my participation in this event.
