Our thesis project aims to address the following research question:

RQ1: What factors lead developers to rely on locally maintained Actions within their repositories, as opposed to utilizing Actions available on the GitHub Marketplace?

We aim to investigate whether developers prefer to build their own GitHub workflows or reuse GitHub actions from the marketplace. Additionally, we seek to understand the reasons behind the observed differences between these approaches.
