Home Occupation Renewal
The Town of Orono requires Home Occupations to be registered with the Code Enforcement Office. Renewal of an existing Home Occupation takes place every January, at no cost to the business owner so long as they were registered in the previous year.

I understand that prior to the issuance of a Home Occupation Permit renewal, I must file this application with the Orono Code Enforcement Office on or before the 31st of January, 2024. 

I also understand that if I fail to file this application in accordance with the ordinance on or before the anniversary date of my original permit, my permit will be null and void and I must stop any and all activities which require me to have a Home Occupation Permit, and that I will have to apply for a new permit, which will be reviewed by the Town of Orono Planning Board.
