1. Check-in begins Eastbound on Hardisty Ave. In front of Crescent Valley School at 6:00 pm

2. Entries will be judged between 6:45pm and 7:00pm. To qualify for awards entries must be totally assembled and participants are to be present and ready at this time.

3. At the parade staging area, entries will be given final instructions by the Parade Marshall in regards to order of procession, spacing, etc.

4. NO ITEMS (Food/candy/merchandise) ARE TO BE THROWN TO THE CROWD FROM ANY PARADE ENTRY ALONG THE PARADE ROUTE. NO OPEN CONSUMABLES.
Those wishing to distribute material should do so by walking adjacent to the entry, along the crowd edge, taking care to distribute items directly to the crowd. Spectators are not encouraged to go onto the road at any time. Individual Liability Insurance may be required in the future! Failure to adhere to this rule could result in expulsion from the current parade and forfeiture to participate in any future Hinton Chamber of commerce parades.

5. Participants and spectators must not mount or dismount moving floats or vehicles.

6. Parade Participants must keep pace. All units must maintain a forward motion at all times. Dancing units MUST NOT STOP and perform as this prevents the parade from flowing smoothly.

7. No entry will be permitted to perform maneuvers or stunts on the route that will interfere with the forward motion of the parade.

8. Alcohol beverages or stimulants of any kind are prohibited on any float, in any vehicle, or on the person of any participant. Participants consuming alcohol or other stimulants prior to or during the Parade are subject to removal from the Parade.

9. The Parade will START AT 7:00 pm SHARP!

10. All entries are responsible for their own clean-up of the assembly area.

11. The parade will end back at Crescent Valley School at which time the entries will disperse.
