Keynote Motaz Azaiza General Admission Ticket - Waitlist
Dear Community Member,

We write to share some unfortunate news with you. While we have been excited for you to join us this Friday, March 22nd, for a live conversation with Motaz Azaiza, we have just received word that Motaz’s team has faced some unexpected issues that are going to prevent him from traveling to the United States this week. Unfortunately, this means that Motaz will no longer be our keynote speaker. We can only imagine your disappointment—we are also deeply saddened by this update and have been looking forward to hosting Motaz and hearing from him.

Our good news: we will still be continuing the event with Jehad Abusalim as the keynote speaker. Jehad, who was slated to facilitate the conversation with Motaz, is an incredible Palestinian thinker and writer currently based in DC but born and raised in Gaza. Jehad graduated from Al-Azhar University in Gaza, Palestine, and studies Arab intellectual writings on Zionism as well as the social and political history of the Gaza Strip, focusing on the impact of the Nakba on life in Palestine’s Gaza district and 1950s political life in the Gaza Strip. He is the Education and Policy Coordinator at the Palestine Activism Program of American Friends Service Committee in Chicago.

Register to hear Jehad speak here: https://forms.gle/1CoiNzz3X2zLxbZc6. We sincerely hope you join us to hear Jehad speak at the culmination of our conference. We will also keep you updated on the location of the talk with Jehad, so look out for more communication from us.

You can also still register for the remaining conference events here. We're excited to have you.

In solidarity,
The Bell Collective for Critical Race Theory
