As parent and/or legal guardian, I hereby give consent for my child (Talent) to participate in the ASIA PACIFIC YOUNG AUDIENCE AWARD (the Project) on 24 July 2021 and to appear in the materials created for the Project at the direction of the Asia Pacific Screen Academy.

I authorise the use of these photographs and recordings of the Talent as part of any promotional or educational material generated before, during or after the Project by the Production Companies at its sole discretion in respect of frequency, whether in whole or in part, and without limitation in respect of time, purpose and location, for broadcasting and non-broadcasting uses of any kind (TV, radio, print media, audio-visual uses, in particular internet, live-stream and Social Media platforms, e.g. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube) as well as in an awards ceremony. These broadcasting rights are transferred for all broadcasting technologies, standards and formats as well as for the transfer to third parties.

I authorise the Production Companies to make any use of the materials and the name, photograph, image or likeness of the Talent in the media in perpetuity in any country in the world, and to edit, modify, use, exploit, distribute and exhibit the materials in the media or to a business for marketing purposes (at the discretion of the Production Companies) without payment to the Talent and without seeking the Talent's consent.

I agree that all use of the materials by the Production Companies in the media is an authorised use and the Talent releases the Production Companies from any claims, demands or causes of action for any infringement of the Talent's rights arising from Use of the Materials by the Production Companies, including but not limited to claims relating to ownership and infringement of rights in the Intellectual Property or claims for defamation, libel, invasion of privacy, breach of right of publicity or breach of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010.

I hereby warrant that:
    a. the Talent has full right and authority to execute and to grant the rights in this document;
    b. the Talent will perform and participate in the Project in a commercial, proper manner and with a reasonable standard of diligence, care and skill;
    c. the Talent will not make any statement either orally or in writing which, in the reasonable opinion of the Production Companies, is likely to cause detriment, damage, injury or loss to the Production Companies;
    d. the Talent will not be involved in any conduct which brings the Talent or the Production Companies into substantial disrepute or ridicule.
    e. The Talent must not at any time disclose or make use of any confidential information in any manner whatsoever except as required by law or as is reasonably necessary for the Project.

Protection of privacy and personal data is taken very seriously. Great importance is attached to ensuring that the data of the Talent is secure, and that data processing complies with applicable data protection regulations, in particular the Information Privacy Act 2009 (Qld). Furthermore, The Production Companies implement technical and organisational measures to ensure that the data is optimally protected against unauthorised access by third parties. All provided personal data with respect to the Talent’s participation in the Project will only be use for the organisation, implementation and the follow-up of the Project. The collection, processing and storage of personal data is solely for the purposes mentioned.
