Laurence Libin, Emeritus Curator of Musical Instruments at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, joins Music Director Martin Pearlman for a conversation about period instruments and the revival of Baroque orchestras in the 20th century. They will also discuss instruments used in Boston Baroque's 2017 performance of George Frideric Handel's Water Music Suite and J.S. Bach's Brandenburg Concerto No. 1, which were some of the first pieces written for horn.
