Pax Christi Meal Ministry is coordinating an emergency grocery basket delivery to anyone in need of a bag of groceries in this trying time.  We are compiling volunteers who can create a bag of groceries and be able to deliver to the doorstep or assist others in grocery shopping.  We will reach out to the parish and when a need becomes identified, we will ask a volunteer to deliver their bag of groceries or assist with grocery shopping.  We will try to have that delivery in your quadrant of the city for easy delivery.  For donation groceries recommend including canned goods, crackers, and anything you can spare that is healthy and easy to prepare for folks.  Feel free to include healthy fresh fruits and veggies if available. Please check expiration dates on the items you are putting into grocery bags, no expired items please.
