Workshop leaders are responsible for designing a class that is appropriate for both a younger group (10-13) and an older group of campers (14-18) or two different curriculums for these groups. The workshop should also consider the campers’ diverse backgrounds, experiences, and interests; if the workshop is music-related, leaders should present a variety of genres, cultures, and eras. All workshops are an hour long and offered twice, back to back between 1:00 - 3:00pm.
Past workshops have included Songwriting, Zine Making, Live Sound Engineering, Healthy Body Image, Healthy Boundaries in Relationships, Yoga, Zumba, Self Defense, Banned Books, and Artist Talks from visual artists!
This is a great option for someone with a skill to share but is only able to volunteer for one afternoon.
