Buddhist Temple of Toledo is hosting "Encountering White Tara, the Female Buddha" as the final workshop in BTT's 2022 Spring Ango series Celebrating Women in Buddhism.

The event is open to all members of the Buddhist Temple of Toledo, Vine of Obstacles Zen, and Boundless Way Temple.

Receive the Blessings of Wisdom Mind -encountering the female Buddha, White Tara!

We will focus on White Tara -- a universal expression of the unification of compassion and wisdom. She is particularly associated with longevity, as well as physical and emotional healing.

We will learn her enlightenment story, and we will learn how to use imagination, sadhana, and mantra to connect intimately with her archetypal energy. Along the way we will notice how she brings balance to the male and female energies, reminding us that enlightenment transcends gender.
