Application Process & Rules

Thank you for your interest in applying to become a Volunteer for an upcoming Diversity Fashion World (DFW) fashion show. Submitting your application is the first step in our review process. Below are some guidelines to help ensure your application is completed correctly.

1) Please follow the guidelines on the online application and provide all of the requested information. Incomplete applications will not be reviewed.

2) The application asks personal questions designed to help us get to know you better. It is very important you take your time and thoughtfully answer these questions to the best of your ability.

3) Once your application is submitted, you will receive an email confirming your submission. Note, you will not hear from us immediately so please be patient while your application is reviewed. Please do not email or call our office to find out the status of your application. We will be in touch with you if we have an interest.

4) Status. Nothing in this Application creates or shall be construed to constitute an employment relationship, partnership, joint venture, or agency relationship between the DFW or its affiliates, on the one hand, and the Makeup/Hair Artist, on the other hand, or entitling the Makeup/Hair Artist to control in any manner the conduct of the business of the DFW or any of its affiliates.

10) No wages. The Volunteer understands that this role is without wages or salary.

Information Services: provide customer service and general show information to guests

Marketing: Video/content editing, photography, social media management

Press: Reach out to Press and Media outlets. Help with Press check-in, office duties, and press communications

Production: Help with behind-the-scenes set-up, maintenance, and tear down of fashion show

Ticketing: Assist in checking in guests, answering guests questions about experiences, and providing customer service

Agreement of Fees: I understand that IF I AM ACCEPTED to volunteer during a Diversity Fashion World fashion show, that I will be sent an agreement outlining my participation. I will not be confirmed as a participating Volunteer until that agreement has been signed. *
