General Information:
 Lessons are $22 per half-hour.  1/2 Scholarships, 1/3 Scholarships, 1/4 Scholarships will be awarded based on financial need.  The award amount will be determined by the RAOC Scholarship Review Committee.  The decision of RAOC is final.  Applicants denied a scholarship may reapply if circumstances change.
 No portion of the scholarship is to be applied to the cost of any lesson not actually received.  Missed lessons must be paid for in full ($22.00) and are the student’s responsibility.  Scholarships will not be granted for unexcused absences.  Also, the student must take regular lessons each month (3-4 lessons per month) to remain eligible for private lesson scholarship.
 If sufficient progress is not being made by the student, the RAOC reserves the right to discontinue scholarship funds at anytime.
 Each scholarship award will terminate at the end of each school year (May). Scholarships are not available during the months of June, July, or August.  Another private lesson scholarship application should be submitted and approved at the start of each school year in order to receive funds.
 It is the desire of RAOC that we help as many deserving students as possible with the funds that are available.  Private lesson scholarships are granted on the basis of financial need.  Scholarships will be awarded as funds are available.  Please contact your student’s director if you have any questions.
