Thank you for your interest in vending at Life Is Living 2019.
It’s an honor to again host West Oakland’s celebration of living life to the fullest with music, art, dance and community at Lil Bobby Hutton Park.

Drawing 7,000+ attendees, Life is Living fills up the WHOLE park, with different areas focusing on different activities. As with every year, vendors are assigned where we believe you’ll have the most visibility with your target audience. To help us with this, please provide as much detail as you can in your vendor application.

Vendors and service providers specifically geared toward natural hair, African inspired apparel & jewelry, beauty & spa services will be featured in the Beauty Zone. Afrofuturist creatives have the opportunity to be featured in the Dark Star Zone. Food, crafts and other vendors will enjoy the entire block Main Marketplace, between the Main Stage and the Love Life Stage on 18th Street between Adeline and Poplar.

GENERAL DETAILS:
Vending spaces are 10x10 square feet.
It is required that you bring your own tents, tables, chairs and signage for your vending space
No amplified sound will be allowed at individual vending site unless you have prior approval through the application process.
Food vendors are expected to provide full time operation (10a – 6pm)

MORE DETAILS:
LOAD IN: 8AM - 10AM CUTOFF - Vehicle Entry/Exit to Area is exclusively at 18th Street and Poplar.
HOURS OF OPERATION 10AM - 6PM (food vendors required to operate the full time)
LOAD OUT 6PM-7PM - Vehicle Entry/Exit to Area is exclusively at 18th Street and Poplar.

Specific vending space to be assigned after confirmation.
All vendors must have a valid seller’s permit. Food vendors must have current health permit.

FEES:
Independent Vendor/Service Provider Booth: $180
Full Plate food Vendor: $500
Single item/prepackaged Food Vendor $180
Youth Entrepreneur (must attend workshop for Fee Waiver - limited to 10 booths; ages 18 and below)
Nonprofit Tabling: $50
Late Fee: add $100 applied beginning Sept 23, 2019
Clean up charge: $65 to vending spaces left unclean after load out

Please submit your application no later than September 22, 2019. Submitting this application does not confirm your specific booth space. Once we have received your vending application, including seller’s or health permit, you will be sent an email confirmation with payment instructions.
