All BDDEC schools are involved in the BDDEC vision plan which identifies Literacy, Numeracy, Indigenous Language(s) and Social Responsibility as indicators of success for students.
We hope to engage parents/guardians in discussions about each of the four indicators of success. We are asking if you had discussions with your child’s teacher about Literacy, Numeracy and Indigenous Languages. In the case of elementary school with homeroom teachers you may have the same teacher for both ELA and Math. We ask that you still fill out question one and two.
We are also asking if you have participated in school events designed for parents/guardians (virtual /in-person). Your response to this survey will help us collect information needed to measure the effectiveness of our communication. Please complete the questions below and return the survey to your child’s teacher or the school office. The confidentiality of your individual responses is assured unless you choose otherwise. If you have any questions, you can contact Superintendent Devin Roberts at
droberts@bdec.nt.ca or at 1-867-678-5304.
