Neighborhood Picnic - Sunday, AUG 27 - 11:00AM
St. Matt's is again hosting a neighborhood picnic for our neighbors right around the church. This is just about being community together and sharing an hour or two of fellowship, food, and fun in our village.  Also, you are invited to an outdoor worship service at 10AM in which we will "Bless The Backpacks," by blessing and praying for students and teachers as they head into another school year.

We will have a large tent on the front lawn for dinning. Also, please bring lawn chairs or blankets if you wish to spread out on our lawn as well. We will have a Foam Pit, 75' Slip & Slide, 1,000 water balloons and other water games, bounce house, snow cones, a balloon artist, and bingo with white elephant prizes for the adults.

St. Matt's will be providing fried chicken (and hot dogs as a kid option), side dishes, drinks, plates, and utensils. If you would like to bring a dessert, that would be great. If it is gluten free or has nuts, please label your dish that way for others. If you just would like to bring yourself, that is just fine! Please come!

We need somewhat of a headcount to supply the main meat course and get an idea for table and chair set-up. We will only use your email if there is some change of plans you need to be notified about (rain).

This is just meant to be a good old-fashioned village get together after our brief outdoor worship service at 10AM. Come meet neighbors you didn't even knew you had close-by! Come enjoy a "beautiful day in the neighborhood!"

Call us at 847.382.7002 with any questions. Monday - Friday 8:30AM-4:00PM or Friday 8:30AM-12:00PM.
