Who Can Apply?

All women can apply. The application includes an opportunity for you to tell us more about yourself and why you feel that you should be a recipient of a “Journey” bike.

Where do the bikes come from and what type of bike?

“Journey” bikes are awarded by Womens Cycling. The bikes are funded by membership fees from the Womens Cycling Club of America and private donations. The bikes are new and sourced from affiliate bike shop and industry partners. The bike style depends on the recipients riding needs.

How often are the bikes awarded?

Womens Cycling awards a “Journey” bike as often as funds allow, most typically every 2-4 months.

What happens after I receive a bike. Do I need to give it back?

Each “Journey” bike is a tool for you to start your new path. We would love you to share your inspiring story with other riders. The bike is yours to keep.
