Social Justice Literacy Workshop Interest Form
This workshop is designed for classroom educators, curriculum specialists, DEI practitioners, teaching and learning experts, and school leaders in elementary-school (PreK-5) settings looking to co-create a developmentally appropriate, research-based social justice literacy unit of study on self-identity with children’s literature at the core. This four-part virtual workshop series will be held monthly and led by Chéleah Googe, Ph.D., and Abigail Whorley, MBA, in collaboration with early childhood experts Jazmine Jackson, M.Ed., and Chanelle Peters, M.Ed. The dates for our Zoom sessions are as follows:

- October 2, 2023 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. EST
- November 13, 2023 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. EST
- December 4, 2023 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. EST
- January 8, 2024 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. EST

This is an opportunity to participate in an inaugural class. Our goal is to build a cohort capitalizing on time with the experts. This inaugural workshop will be limited to twelve participants; if interested, please fill out this form.

Cost per person: $1,600 

Cost per group of 2 educators from the same school: $3,000
