The LIFE Collegetour, in the format of the tv show, will be streamed on September 8th at 16:30 in the Beijerinkzaal at the Faculty of Applied Sciences of the TU Delft. The presenter will be prof.dr.ir. Paulien Herder, professor in Energy Systems Engineering and dean of the Faculty of Applied Sciences of the TU Delft. Bas Eickhout studied Chemistry and Environmental Science at Radboud University in Nijmegen. After his studies, he worked for the RIVM and the Environmental Assessment Agency (PBL). He is a co-author of the 2007 IPCC report on climate change, for which the organization received the Nobel Peace Prize together with Al Gore. Since 2009, he has been a member of the European Parliament, specializing in climate, (bio)energy and sustainable agriculture policy.
