Scholarship Application

The Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) awards scholarships, from time to time, to promising students in order to make classes accessible to diverse communities. Please see the eligibility requirement guidelines below and complete the application. Please select the age group of the applicant and indicate which art class you are interested in applying the scholarship toward.

In order to make classes accessible to diverse communities, LACMA is offering scholarships to promising students for this program. All students are encouraged to apply, including QTBIPOC participants and others who bring diverse perspectives.


Process Scholarship applications are due on the 1st of the month. Applications will be reviewed by a panel, and applicants will be notified via email about their status by the 15th of the month. Scholarship opportunities are limited and are awarded at the museum’s discretion. 

For children under the age of 13, the application must be completed by the child’s parent or legal guardian.

Eligibility Requirements:
- Students must be at least 6 years old.
- A statement regarding financial need and your interest in taking a LACMA art class is required.
Priority will be given to new applicants, but scholarship recipients are welcome to reapply every 6 months.
