How many of your children do you want to sign up for the Bone Lab with Dr. Armitage on Wed, Feb 23rd? Please write their names and ages below (*update: starting lab participant age is 7 years & up for girls and 9 and up for boys). Note: siblings CAN participate in the same lab together if necessary. Deadline to register is Feb. 5th.
Which lab time would you like to sign your student up for? Note: ALL labs are at the Chapel of the North Hills Church fellowship hall. (address: 4501 Jon Cunningham Blvd, El Paso, Tx 79934). Is your child an El Paso Christian School student?
The lab fee is $65 per student. Will you be able to pay this for your child/student or will your child need one of the Creation Network scholarships? If necessary, write in how many of your students will need a scholarship in the "other" box below.
If your child will need a scholarship,  please list how many kids are needing a scholarship. Also, have your child watch ONE of these videos below and write a 1-2 page essay highlighting a few main ideas that stood out to them, why dino soft tissue is important and why they want to do the Dino bone lab. If the student can't write yet, they can record a short video (less than 5 min) explaining what they learned from the video and why they want to do the labs. Please email me their short essay or video at caleb.harrelson@yahoo.com by Feb 5th. Videos are listed below:     (1)  How do dinosaurs fit the Bible? (good for younger kids): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8gS1vTaejbA&t=3s     (2) Dino Hunter, discovering soft tissue: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Waqyy8j-H8k&t=1549s             (3) Dinosaur Extinction & the flood: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cr6NBtLNpu0 (4) Genesis Impact movie: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H2sWzApuuvc&t=989s
Pre-lab talk, Sunday, Feb 20th, 3-5pm at Chapel of the N. Hills Fellowship Hall (address: 4501 Jon Cunningham Blvd, El Paso, Tx 79934). We are planning for Dr. Armitage to give a lab preview and dinosaur talk for ALL lab students and adults that want to learn a little bit more about what their child will be learning about.  Attendance to this talk is not required to do the labs, but it is highly recommended. Anyone is welcome to attend this talk as well (even if they aren't doing the labs). If you can attend the matinee talk,  check yes below and list in the "other" box how many will attend that Sunday afternoon.
For Parents, Adults and Teachers: We need around 6-8 Adult volunteers for each lab. Would you be able to attend the adult volunteer lab training on Monday evening, Feb. 21st, from 5-8pm, with Dr. Armitage? This will be at the Chapel of the N. Hills Fellowship Hall. If you will need childcare, please let us know the names and ages of your children. There is no lab fee for Adult helpers.
