FCVC will be holding its “Movember" Property Walk on Saturday, November 5th at 10:00 AM. We will be touring the 18 acre Lobdell Conservation Easement near Townville. Local conservationist and educator, Terry Lobdell will be leading the walk, discussing the conservation value and management strategies on his property.

FCVC placed a conservation easement on the Lobdell property in 2014. Terry has been active in environmental education and conservation for many years and manages his property for wildlife, sustainable timber harvesting and conservation. Terry is very interested in bats and birds and has various projects and strategies that are targeted to those species. The parcel is located within the headwaters of Muddy Creek and has several small drainages that run through the property. 

The walk is free and open to the public. *All participants should dress for the weather and wear sturdy, closed toe shoes or boots. 

All minors MUST be accompanied by an adult.
