If you would like to request weekly meals for your student during the virtual start of the 2020-2021 school year, please complete the form below. We ask that you complete this form by Monday, Aug 24th at noon to be included in the first distribution of meals. The form will remain open if you decide to participate after this time for future distribution on the following week. We will send a follow up communication with specific details for pick-up times and locations by Tuesday, Aug 25th. Please be aware at the start of the school year Logan County Schools Food Service Program is operating under the National School Breakfast/Lunch Programs. (NSLP/SBP) Under these programs CEP School students are eligible for meals at no cost to their household. Non-CEP School students are eligible for school meals based on their individual eligibility (free/reduced/paid). Under the NSLP/SBP Logan County Schools will only be able to provide meals to students enrolled in the Logan County School District. Meals may also vary slightly by grade group based on meal pattern requirements set by USDA.
Please note if your student is enrolled at LCHS (non-CEP), and they are a paid or reduced eligibility student, they will need money in their meal account due to program policies. We highly recommend making deposits online through
myschoolbucks.com. If you are unable to make an online deposit, you may drop off at the student's school in an envelope marked with student name, meal account #, and "meal deposit". Or you may mail the deposit to: Logan County Schools/2222 Bowling Green Road/Russellville, KY 42276 with the same criteria noted. This form will cover student meal request anytime the district may be on "red", when the entire district is operating virtually.
