Talawanda's Destination Imagination program is a great way to get your student involved in a STEAM (STEM + Art!) activity even among the chaos of COVID-19! It is a team based challenge program that requires creativity and teamwork. Teams can choose to solve one of six challenges in the areas of science, technology, fine arts, improv, outreach, and engineering - or teams of K-2nd grade kids can do the early learning challenge. This year's program is designed to make up lost time for kids to regain teamwork with an ongoing emphasis on safety.

The Region XIV tournament is tentatively scheduled for Saturday, February 26, 2022.

There is a $55 fee to compete on a Destination Imagination team (team manager children's fees will be waived and need based scholarships are available).

An information meeting will be scheduled in the first week of October although late additions and one-on-one sessions to discuss the program are welcome. We can form teams up through the end of November.
