Workshops

Starting Monday 22nd Aril - Term 2 /Week 2

Grade 4-6: Monday 3:30pm - 4:30pm

All workshops are located at Euphorium Platform Studio at the old Railway Station, 65 Chapman Road
Students are to bring a water bottle and dress in comfortable clothes that allow movement. Students may wear school uniforms, casual wear or UCA shirt.
Workshops are held weekly at designated time and run concurrently with the school term.
Students are expected to attend each workshop and arrive with enough time ready to start at the designated time of 3.30pm. In the event that they are unable to attend a workshop or will be late please notify the Creative Coach as soon as possible.
Coaches are only onsite from 3:15pm (15 min before workshops) and we ask that younger students are dropped off or arrive no earlier without parental supervision. Students walking to the studio from school are able to wait quietly on the platform until Creative Coach arrives.
It is the duty of the parent/guardian to collect students promptly at the end of the workshop at 4.30pm. Please note that Creative Coaches will not be onsite after the workshop finishes to wait.
If there is anyone who you do not wish to collect your child please provide information to the Creative Coach so they are aware.
Although as parents we love to watch our kids, we ask that parents leave before the commencement of a workshop and wait outside until the end. We find that the students can become embarrassed and tend to participate less if their parents / guardian or others are watching. And that’s what our shows are for!

Performances

Each group will have a midyear & end of year performance (TBC)
There will also be opportunities to be a part of various creative projects UCA will be facilitating through out the year

Communication

Any information regarding programs will be emailed to the student's parent/guardian contact listed on signup. In the case of older students information will also be emailed to students if their email is also provided.

Fees & Payment

Annual Registration Fee: $35 per student

Primary Improv Theatre Grade 4-6: $120 per term

Fees will be invoiced upon enrolment and are due before the commencement of each term, regardless of how many classes a student attends. Please note that coaches do not carry change for cash payments.
Family discount for a second family member enrolled in programs is 15%, third family member 50%, fourth family member is free.
Unchained Creative Academy strives to remove financial barriers by keeping program fees to a minimum, however rises in operational costs mean an adjustment in program fees is sometimes unavoidable. Please contact Jody to talk about payment plans and term scholarships that are available as we don’t want anyone to miss out.

Social Media

I give permission for my child to be photographed and/or filmed at workshops and grant Unchained Creative Academy rights to use the images resulting from the photography/video filming, and any reproductions or adaptations of the images for fundraising, publicity or other purposes to help achieve the group’s aims unless I have otherwise notified my child’s Creative Coach.

Safety

All creative coaches are required to hold a current Working With Children Check, First Aid Certified and have undergone mental health and inclusivity training and are required to abide by Unchained Creative Academy Child Protection Policy
