Bob is the landlord for a townhouse. There is one tenant who pays him by cheque. If he gets a cheque, he needs to walk to the bank and he gives the cheque directly to a bank teller. Only then does he receive money into his bank account. Bob also has another tenant who pays by e-Transfer. It is so convenient because it doesn't matter what time of day it is; he can always deposit the money. First, he gets a notification by email, then he chooses the bank account he wants to deposit into and answers a security question. It could not be any easier.
