Invitation to a working group on indicators and best practices to support bio-waste management

We are inviting you to a working group organised by ACR+ for the European project LIFE BioBest. This project aims to highlight best practices along the bio-waste management chain that promote quality compost and digestate production. The project also aims to identify and address the barriers and challenges faced by the local authorities that are implementing organic waste management.

To this end, ACR+ organises several co-creation working groups in 2023. This survey concerns the second working group that aims to discuss best practices and indicators to support the development of bio-waste management strategy at local level. This working group will take place online on Monday the 16th of October from 14h to 16h30.

LIFE BIOBEST Project. The subsidiary responsible as project leader is Fundació ENT.

Purpose

Data management of people (including personal information and images/audio) PARTICIPATING IN THE LIFE BIOBEST PROJECT EVENTS. The personal data will be kept as long as the purpose for which they were collected is maintained.

Legitimation

Consent of the interested person so that the LIFE BIOBEST Project may reach out by email or telephone to deal directly with professional matters and to send information about project outputs, activities or events organized.

Recipients

The data will be communicated to the project partners of LIFE BIOBEST Project. The data will not be communicated to other categories of recipients, except in the cases provided for by law or when expressed consent has been given.

Rights of interested persons

To request access, rectification or deletion of data, and limitation or opposition to treatment, please email biobest@ent.cat, informing us of the right you wish to exercise and including your identifying data and the subject of “BIOBEST DATA PROTECTION”. You have the right to file a claim with the Catalan Data Protection Authority.

By registering and participating in workshops hosted by the LIFE BIOBEST PROJECT, you automatically agree to authorize recording of audio and visual content presented during the live event and consent to subsequent use of the recording.

The audio and visual recording of the live webinar includes documents and materials exchanged or viewed during the live event, questions asked and poll answers provided by the participants during the live event, the closed captioning transcript and the chat box transcript.

All the information collected during the session will be used by project partners for the project tasks, objectives and deliverables.

The recording of the session can be published at LIFE BIOBEST WEBPAGE and other LIFE BIOBEST social media channels during the timeframe of the project and later on until the closure of the project webpage (5 years after the end of the project).

If you do not want your image and voice to be treated, please disable the microphone and camera during the session and only interact or send your questions through the chat. Please remember that by activating the camera or microphone during the session, you authorize LIFE BIOBEST PROJECT to capture, post, use and publish your image and voice and to process your data for this purpose.

For the practical purposes of the LIFE BIOBEST PROJECT, the disclosure of non-confidential information from organizations or experts outside the project is the preferred modus operandi. In the event that Confidential Information is required or necessary for project purposes, the LIFE BIOBEST PROJECT is responsible for ensuring that internal distribution of Confidential Information takes place on a strict need-to-know basis.

Confidential Information must be explicitly or orally marked as “confidential” at the time of disclosure and must be confirmed and designated in writing within 15 calendar days from disclosure at the latest as confidential information by the Disclosing Party. 

On request from the Disclosing Party, all Confidential Information will be returned or destroyed, which includes the deletion of all information stored in a machine-readable form to the extent practically possible. The LIFE BIOBEST PROJECT may keep a copy to the extent it is required to keep, archive or store such Confidential Information.
