For Student: All 10th graders are required to take the following: Biology, Geometry, World History, English 10, and Professional Communication if the schedule permits. Honors English, Honors Biology, and Honors World History placement is based on ACT Aspire scores and teacher recommendation. Please note: Students who failed required courses in 9th grade may be placed back in those courses. *

Sports: Place a check next to all the sports you PLAN play. Check them now, because it will be very difficult to add sports to your schedule after school starts. You will need a physical by the first day of school.
Electives: Please choose four of the electives below. Please note: students who choose choir or band will automatically be placed in choir and/or band. *

Virtual Arkansas: There are several courses offered online through Virtual Arkansas. List the online courses you might be interested in taking below.  For information on the courses that are available, please email Mrs. Wheeler at awheeler@bartonsd.org 
For Student: Students will receive a copy of their schedule via email and/or pick up dates will be available in the summer. *

For Student: Any requests for schedule changes must be made through email PRIOR to Open House and PRIOR to the first day of school. No schedule changes will be made at Open House or on the first day of school. *

For Student:  Schedule change requests are merely requests and are not guaranteed. Mrs. Miller can not grant requests to put friends in the same classes and must adhere to class size requirements and graduation requirements. *
