Request to write the CFA CAHP ® Challenge Exam

This form is reserved for applicants who feel they meet the educational knowledge and qualifications to write the CAHP ® Entrance Exam and have not completed their education with a CFA recognized school.

Completing this application and submitting the application fee does not automatically approve your request to write the exam.

There are no right or wrong answers, the questions are designed to allow the CFA a true understanding of your qualifications and education.

Generally, the CFA is looking for at least one of the following:

- 250 hours of aromatherapy education before 2008 AND actively practicing aromatherapy since

- 300 hours of aromatherapy education after 2008 AND actively practicing aromatherapy since

- 400 hours of aromatherapy education in the last 24 months

Currently, CFA recognized schools teach a 400 hour minimum program excluding aroma massage.

The application fee does not cover the cost of the exam or membership. The exam is $150 and professional membership is $140 annually. These fees are subject to change without notice.

This form is a contract between you and the CFA to complete the exam, and protect the privacy and confidentiality of the information that will be shared with you.

There is no time limit on completing this application, only the exam upon approval, so please take the time to understand your obligations, obtain clarity and understand the non-refundable fee.
