Additionally, all Summer Academy students must attend an orientation on either May 14th or May 28th, 2024. You must have a UNM NetID to register for this event. First, complete the UNM application process. When you receive your acceptance letter listing your student ID number, create a UNM NetID. Then, use the link below to register for orientation.

ELIGIBILITY:
Transferring from Central New Mexico Community College (CNM) or
a University of New Mexico branch campus (Gallup, Los Alamos, Taos, or Valencia) to the University of New Mexico-Main Campus.
CNM students must meet a minimum of completed 24 transferable credits with a
2.0 minimum GPA as the Mellon Summer Academy are upper-level classes (300+). They must also have been accepted to the University of New Mexico (as degree-seeking) and majoring or minoring in a Humanities subject at UNM https://extendingnmhn.unm.edu/grads/index.html
Cross-Listed Departments: Chicana/o Studies, Spanish and
Portuguese, more pending.

The NMHN Summer Academy admits transfer students who meet the
eligibility requirements. As previously stated, the application is due May 3rd,
2024, by 11:59 pm. Notifications of acceptance will be announced on May 17th,
2024.
