Bring STEAM to life through culturally relevant and engaging books for your elementary school students! All teachers who attend the event will receive the activity materials and book(s)!

Please note - Unfortunately, not all teachers who apply will secure a spot in this program to receive the physical materials. Priority is given to our regional teachers, teachers in Title 1 schools, and other funding criteria. The UCI Science Project staff will reach out and confirm your spot 1-2 weeks prior to the event so please hold the date in the meantime. If you don't receive confirmation with a zoom link, we were unable to accommodate you this time but will reach out when the title is offered again.

How many students do you teach and will use the materials with? *

We aim for sustainability so many of the materials can be found in the child's home or classroom. We'll provide materials that can be rotated among 30 students one at a time if they are taking the kit home, or teachers can use materials around the classroom to teach the class altogether.

This program is provided by UCI Science Project to provide no-cost STEAM support to K-5 teachers. All that we ask is that you take pictures/video of your students engaging with the books or activities. Your students are generally covered if they already signed a photo/media waiver through your school. Please help us keep this program FREE for teachers! *

My students sign photo waivers through my school district and I will email pictures/videos if possible.
