What is the Walkathon?                                                                                                                                               We are excited for our 13th annual Pleasant View Walkathon on Friday, May 6. All students will be walking 25 minutes around the outdoor paved track to celebrate their commitment to wellness and to help raise funds to replace the library furniture. Our goal is to raise $10,000 for new chairs and tables in the library. The library is used by all students at Pleasant View and the furniture is showing its age. The tables and chairs were initiated into use at Pleasant View in 2005 and are beginning to break down to an irreparable state.  The funds raised would be used to replace the current tables and chairs to allow the students to continue with independent reading and group work on the newly implemented furniture.
What should my student wear?                                                                                                                           Please note that this is an outdoor activity so students should dress appropriately for the weather. All students should wear a pair of tennis shoes and comfortable clothing. Students are encouraged to wear PV colors or a PV shirt.
How can I contribute?                                                                                                                                                 We’d like you to thoughtfully consider making a monetary donation to fund our school goal. You can pledge any amount, no matter how great or small. Please be sure to complete each section of the donation form below. After you pledge, you will receive a donation envelope from the Pleasant View PTA.
