The Maine Association of Planners Spring Conference Committee is soliciting ideas for the June 2, 2023 Spring Conference at The University of Maine Augusta. Please complete the following information by Friday, May 5, 2023 to be considered for inclusion in this year's conference program.

The conference theme as outlined in the Call for Sessions is:

Many communities are experiencing changes to their community’s population that may be unexpected and have immediate and impending impacts to the community and its services and infrastructure (e.g. homeless population, immigrant/refugee, New Mainers, other). There are also many communities who have people/segments of the community of all sorts who are not well represented in planning and public participation. How are Maine planners adapting to new changes in local populations, or improving the equity of planning and outreach in our communities?

We have access to two conference rooms (large table with chairs surrounding) and one large meeting space that will be set up with round tables and chairs.
