Sponsorship funds come directly from generous donations and fundraising efforts by Camp Dreamwood. Our goal is to help as many children as possible attend summer camp.

Our aim is  to support campers in financial need who do not have the financial means to afford the total cost. Subsidies may be limited in some camp sessions based on demand for those programs.

Once you receive funding from us, our hope is to support you for all your remaining years as a camper, as long as you continue to benefit from the camp environment and your household income continues to demonstrate financial need. You must fill out a new application each year.

Families are asked to make a contribution toward the camp fee. For parents in the greatest need, the amount of the contribution will be relatively modest. As the parental income increases, the expected contribution from the parent increases. Parents are asked to indicate a realistic amount they know they can contribute on the application form.

Additional Camp Fees: In addition, there will be some other fees over and above the basic camp fees that are NOT covered by our funding and that are the responsibility of the family. FUNDING ONLY HELPS TO COVER CAMP FEES. These additional costs include transportation to and from camp, tuck, and any personal belongings needed for camp. Parents are responsible for paying these additional fees.
