Super-Con Food Vendor Application
The ARTfactory is seeking food vendors for our Super-Con event on April 27, 2024 from 10AM-10PM. Space is limited to the parking lot next to the ARTfactory.

ARTfactory Food Vendor Policies and Terms
  1. Vendor agrees to pay the ARTfactory 20 percent of total event gross sales by cash or check payable to Center for the Arts at the conclusion of the event.
  2. Vendor must provide a certificate of insurance evidencing general liability insurance coverage with general aggregate and per-occurrence limits of at least $1.0M, including bodily injury/property damage, personal injury/advertising injury and damages to premises.  All coverage must be primary and non-contributory, name Center for the Arts of Greater Manassas/ Prince William County as an additional insured and waive subrogation against Center for the Arts of Greater Manassas/ Prince William County.
  3.  Vendors must sign the contract, completed and signed, and valid certificate of insurance.
  4. Vendor setup will begin at 9: 00 AM and should be complete by 9:45 AM; Vendor agrees to remain and cannot breakdown down until at least 5:00 PM and must be offsite by 10:00 PM on April 27, 2024. Vendors are not required to stay until 10:00pm, but there will be events at the Convention throughout that time.
  5. Vendor agrees to have truck/table staffed during the entire time they are at the event. Allotted space must be maintained in a clean and orderly manner at all times and be clean upon departing the event. All boxes and debris must be removed from the event. Trash removal will not be provided. Vendor must remain within its designated area(s): ARTfactory Parking Lot and Lot Number determined before event.    
  6. Vendor understands that the playing of loud music or other loud noise is not permitted.
  7. Violation of state and local ordinances and/or ARTfactory policy & procedures may result in expulsion of vendor from event. All Vendors are responsible to follow Sec. 110-272 regarding tax imposed. Any and all tax liability acquired as a result of merchandise or food sold during an event in the City of Manassas that has been managed by Historic Manassas Inc. is the sole responsibility of said Vendor. It is the Vendors responsibility to track and report to the City of Manassas and to the Commonwealth of Virginia those liabilities.
  8. ARTfactory reserves the right to cancel this contract at any time without liability.

Food Truck Vendors are required to do the following per the City of Manassas Fire Marshall Office:

  • Provide the name of the food truck and a copy of the food truck(s) current valid Fire Prevention Code Permit to FireMarshal@manassasva.gov at least one week prior to the event – This is issued by the Fire Marshals’ Office in the jurisdiction that the food truck is registered in. (VSFPC 319.2)
  • If the food truck is from out of state or the unable to get their AHJ to perform the inspection, the food truck owner should call the Virginia State Fire Marshals’ Office at 804-371-0220 (#5) and schedule a date/time with to have it inspected in Richmond. (VSFPC 319.2.1)
  • Food truck(s) shall maintain a 10’ clearance from anything combustible during the event
  • Food truck wheels shall be chocked while stationary. (VSFPC 319.1.1)
  • If the food truck is registered in the City of Manassas, and does not have a current permit - the food truck owner must call 703-257-8455 to schedule the inspection at least one week prior to the event.
  • There is no fee for City of Manassas inspection or permit. We cannot speak on what other jurisdictions charge.
                   Reserved Rights, Limited Remedy, Release of Liability and Indemnification

ARTfactory reserves the right to cancel the event at any time with or without cause.  ARTfactory reserves the right to remove any vendor for cause or no cause.  Any vendor may be refused the right to display or sell merchandise deemed objectionable or unacceptable to the theme of the event.  If the event is not held or is canceled, or if the vendor is removed for any reason, the vendor will be refunded any booth fee paid, but will be entitled to no other compensation or damages. 

The undersigned hereby RELEASES ARTfactory, its Trustees, employees, officers, contractors and agents, and any and all affiliates of any of them (“RELEASED PARTIES”) from any liability or responsibility for any and all claims and damages of every kind, whether for injury to or death of any person or persons, for damage to or loss of property, or otherwise, EVEN IF CAUSED BY THE NEGLIGENCE, OTHER FAULT OR STRICT LIABILITY OF ANY OF THE RELEASED PARTIES or by any fault whatsoever of other persons, arising, directly or indirectly, from the occupancy, use or non-use by vendor of any part of the property of ARTfactory 

Vendor WILL FULLY INDEMNIFY AND HOLD HARMLESS EACH AND ALL OF RELEASED PARTIES from and against any and all claims by any person, damages, actions, liability, and expense in connection with loss of life, personal injury, and/or damage to or loss of use of property in any way arising from the occupancy or use by vendor of any ARTfactory property, or otherwise caused, in whole or in part, by any act or omission of vendor, its agents, contractors, employees or affiliates, EVEN IF ALSO CAUSED IN PART BY THE NEGLIGENCE, OTHER FAULT OR STRICT LIABILITY OF ANY OF THE RELEASED PARTIES.
