The Memphis Youth Symphony Program welcomes virtual auditions for students who wish to participate in our part virtual, part outdoors chamber ensembles. These ensembles will meet weekly (either virtually or in-person and outdoors, with safety precautions in place), with a chamber coaching given by a professional musician every other week. The rehearsal days and times will be determined based on student availability.
To participate in chamber ensembles, students must submit this form by August 24th, pay a $25 audition fee, and email a video audition by Monday, August 31st to

https://www.mysp-music.org/audition Since we will not be hosting traditional large ensembles in the near future, students are asked to pick the excerpts at the most comfortable level for them. If large ensembles do reconvene at a later date, there will be another round of auditions held for open spots in all MYSP large ensembles.
