PURPOSE: Food insecurity is a state of not having consistent access to adequate food due to insufficient resources. Miner's Market exists to provide food and other services to students battling this growing epidemic.HOURS & LOCATION: The temporary Miner's Market Food Pantry located in Room 262, Fidel Center will be open Mondays through Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, closed on Saturday and Sunday, and if the university closes.

As a Miners Market guest, you also agree to the following:
- You may visit once per week; you will need to use your NMT ID to gain access.
- Food is provided on a first-come-first-served basis
- You must be a student at New Mexico Tech
- You may only receive a limited number of items dependent on the
current inventory levels.
- You may only visit the pantry once per week
- You will neither sell, barter, nor give away anything you have taken
from the pantry to others
- You accept the items "AS IS".
- You relinquish Miner's Market of all liability of any nature whatsoever
- Inappropriate behavior is prohibited (such as profanity, littering,
verbal abuse of staff/other users, etc.)
MINER'S MARKET GUARANTEE: 100% of our supply is donated by individuals, organizations, university departments, student organizations, and community partners. While we promise to handle everything according to "best practices," you must check items before you take them thoroughly and/or discard items you do not wish to keep if it does not meet your standard. While we only make a reasonable good faith effort to accept usable items, we do not assure the quality or freshness of any food or product we receive and stock in the pantry.
