Faculty wellness is student success. Now that the state of California has agreed to fully fund part-time faculty healthcare, please agree to a TA expanding healthcare for adjunct faculty in Glendale Community College District as soon as possible. Currently the district partially subsidizes adjunct healthcare, so this will represent a savings to the district which we will argue should be applied to faculty healthcare. Additionally, this will grow our pool of insured faculty which can be leveraged to retain or improve our current full-time faculty healthcare benefits.
