Galaxy of Warships
This quiz involves ships that both appear in World of Warships and on the Bravo Fleet registry.  There's a couple things I want to note off the bat.

  • Ignore the "USS" aspect of the BF names. This quiz will involve more than American ships
  • The answer can be a translated form of the BF ship name. For example, if BF had "USS Munich" it would be considered the same namesake as the WoWS ship "Munchen"
  • If multiple historical ships share the name of a BF/WoWS ship, the question will, unless otherwise mentioned, will refer to the version in WoWS
  • To appear on this quiz, the ship in question must be in full release in WoWS (yes, this actually applies to a ship on the BF registry :) )

This ship, a class ship both in Star Trek and real life, was among the most decorated US ships during WW2 having particpated in many major battles including Midway and Coral Sea. It is also the most prevelant class of ships among BF ships that appear in.

One of the most famous ships historically on this list shares it's name with a Rhode Island-Class ship in Bravo Fleet. This historical German battleship is one of a handfull of examples where the WoWS ship exceeds the length of it's Bravo Fleet counterpart. Which ship, also the subject of a banging song by Sabaton, is it?

This Sutherland-class BF ship is named for a notable British aircraft carrier that participated in the pursuit of the ship mentioned in the prior question. One of her aircraft caused the damage that crippled that ship, leading to her demise.

This Diligent class ship in BF could, if translated, apply to 3 different ships in WoWS, a British carrier and only "supership" on the list, a French destroyer, or an Italian aircraft carrier.

This Nova class starship shares a name of a Russian cruiser that has been preserved as a museum ship in St. Petersburg. While not the only ship that's represented in both BF and WoWS to be preserved, it's by far the oldest of them and the only one outside the USA.

While not a ship that was historically constructed, this Akira-class ship shares it's name with one of the two "hybrid battleships" in WoWS. It's sort of ironic considering the historical ships with this name include both a battleship that sailed with the Great White Fleet and two Essex-class carriers.

There's only one Dutch ship on the list, sharing a name with a Norway-class starship. This ship is also the only one on the list to also share a name with named commander in WoWS, a 17th century Dutch admiral.

This Inquiry-class ship shares its name with a rather famous British battleship. She fought at both Jutland and the D-Day landings and is tied for the longest range gunnery hit against a moving target in naval history. Getting this one wrong will anger the quizmaker....

This Gagarin-class ship shares its name with the lowest tiered ship on the list, a British Destroyer.

As a Defiant-class ship, it's not unlikely that this BF ship could be used in a similar way to her WoWS namesake which served as the launching point for the Doolittle Raid.
