St. James Grape & Fall Festival Parade
Saturday, September 11, 2021
Line up for the parade begins at 9:00 AM. Participants should line up at the Missouri Veteran's Home.  Please enter via St. Francis Avenue.  There will be two lines, one for entries with music, the other without music, please follow the directions of the parade volunteers on-site. Judging will begin at 10:00 am. All those wishing to be judged need to be lined up and ready by 10:00 am.  The parade will end at the St. James High School parking lot.  

Best of Parade will be awarded a red ribbon to the following; Bicycle, antique truck or car, horse (whether ridden or pulling a wagon), 1 float by a business, 1 float by a church or organization. Entries will be judge on best use of parade theme, creativeness and spirit/enthusiasm.

Phelps County will be participating in a Missouri Bicentennial Parade on September 18th in Jefferson City, MO.  Participants are encouraged to create your float representing the entire County in the theme of Past Present & Future, your float could be chosen to participate in the parade on Sept 18th.  Please send the plans for your float and any photographs of props to director@stjameschamber.net.

NO candy or other items are to be thrown from floats or vehicles. Walkers may walk beside floats to throw candy & Memorabilia. ALL motorized vehicles must be driven by licensed drivers.
