The Robinson High School Band Booster ( Band and Starlets/Winterguard) Nominating Committee is now accepting RHS Band Boosters elected officer nominations. Duties of of officers and eligibility under the current RHS Band Boosters By-laws can be found below. Nominations will be accepted till the date described below. Floor nominations will also be accepted at the meeting.
Nominations are in order for the following positions:
DUTIES OF OFFICERS (RHS Band Boosters By-laws Article VI-Section 8- see by-laws for full duties detail)
The duties of the officers are as follows:

President shall preside at all meetings of the association, the executive committee and the executive board at which the president may be present: shall perform all duties pertaining to the office of President in accordance with the Governing Documents of the Organization.

The Vice President shall preside at General and Executive committee meetings in the absence of the President, be the Executive Advisor over the Standing Committee advise all Board and Committee Members as needed.
●
The Vice President of Fundraising shall manage and coordinate all activities pertaining to contact, solicitation and communications between the Organization and its business sponsors, draft and distribute a copy of the student sponsorship letter to Executive Committee to distribute to all students for fundraising, determine the fundraising potential for any and all non-essential merchandise/apparel items, events, and activities, and oversee the implementation of any such items, events, or activities.

Secretary - communicates meeting times and agendas, takes minutes at all meetings, maintains the official business record of RHS Band Booster, write thank you notes for the organization, as needed.

Treasurer (Band) - handles all financial operations of the Band Booster activities, reconciles banking, invoices and collects Band dues and obligations. Provide summary of financial activates for previous month to present at planned meetings.

Starlet Treasurer - handles all financial operations of the Band Booster activities, reconciles banking, invoices and collects Band dues and obligations. Provide summary of financial activates for previous month to present at planned meetings.
ELIGIBILITY: An elected official of the Organization must be a member in good standing and be the parent/guardian of a child in the Robinson High School Band Program.

5/25/2022
General Meeting - Election of officers (after graduation-senior parents encouraged to attend).
6/30/2022
Newly elected officers take office.
