This is the National Christian HomeSchool Championships (NCHC) Eligibility Verification/Challenge Form. The NCHC feels the first step in these situations should be to ask the team in question about this situation. Any conversation with an opposing team like this would require a gentle spirit, and it would be wise to avoid accusations. Asking questions, even as simple as the player's name, can be very beneficial.

Eligibility Verification Request

Verification Requests are based on instinct or curiosity but with no proof. The NCHC can verify certain items without contacting the team in question. For example, a player's age can be verified quickly and does not require the NCHC to contact the team in question as the NCHC will pull up Player Registration information and quickly verify. We will not respond to verification requests unless we have further questions or if it is an accurate report of an eligibility violation.

Eligibility Challenge: Requires Irrefutable Proof

This process requires the NCHC to contact the team in question, notify them of the challenge, and give them a deadline for sending the NCHC the required documentation. Challenges filed more than 1 hour after a game will only impact future games.

VERY IMPORTANT: To file an eligibility challenge, YOU are required to have and provide irrefutable proof to the NCHC. Anything else needs to be filed under a Verification Request.

Eligibility Challenge's are taken very seriously and will result in a response to the Director of the challenging team's organization.
