We welcome all new and returning students to join our Indigenous family at Toronto Metropolitan University!
To kick off the Fall 2022 semester, Aboriginal Initiatives in the Office of the Vice-President, Equity and Community Inclusion (OVPECI),
Aboriginal Student Services and the Aboriginal Education Council invite the Indigenous community on our campus (including students, staff, faculty/sessional instructors) to a welcome ceremony and orientation. Get to know
the array of Indigenous services available to you from across the university, with introductions from the Yellowhead Institute, Saagajiwe, Learn for Empowerment, In Their Moccasins Program, the Indigenous Student Association and Aboriginal Student Services. There will also be prizes, giveaways and more!
When: Wednesday, September 14, 2 - 6pm
Where: POD-250
This is a flow-through event. You may attend for however long you are available; drop by even for 5 minutes if you like! A meal of Indian tacos and refreshments will be available.
