FAME at DENT Advanced Dance Application 2022-2023
What is Advanced Dance?

Students will work independently and collaboratively to perform, view and analyze dance works. Students will be engaged in projects that develop connections between dance and healthful living while building dance relationships with other disciplines. This is a performance class, which give students the opportunity to perform in two showcases during this course.

Students will apply critical thinking skills in order to compare and contrast movements and explore multiple solutions to a particular movement problem/situation.  Students will describe and perform dances from various cultures while setting personal goals to improve themselves as dancers.
