SHARING PRACTICES - In this series of workshops several artists will share the practices that underpin their artistic work. The workshop series is conceived as a platform to bring together artists and people interested in learning more about theatre, dance, the body and art. It is conceived as a field for new and old experiments together, as a playground for artists and participants, as a place to meet and exchange experiences.
Attendance to the workshop is free of charge, but we invite participants to make a donation.

ZONA 8 is a space dedicated to dance, performance and art; a place for reflection and study, where the political aspects of human existence can be investigated in the encounter between bodies and where differences are seen as a potential for continuous processes of discussion and transformation.
It is a space that aims to encourage creation, resistance, continuity and questioning of the Eurocentric perspective on dance and dance production.
Zona 8 is run by members of Grupo Oito.


**REGISTRATION INFORMATION**

  • Please fill out the form and select the workshops of your choice. (You can participate in as many workshops as you'd like).
  • In the week leading up to your chosen workshop, you will receive an email with all relevant information, such as the full address of the venue, any specific requests that the workshop guides may have for you, etc...
  • If you're unable to attend the workshop, we kindly ask that you get in touch and let us know, so we can plan accordingly for the number of participants. (grupooitoberlin@gmail.com)

HOW MUCH DO THE WORKSHOPS COSTS?



The workshops will be offered on a CONSCIOUS CONTRIBUTION BASIS. Your participation not only enriches your own knowledge and experience but also contributes to the maintenance of ZONA 8 space, which currently receives no government assistance or subsidies.
We believe in the power of community support, to help us maintaining the space for everyone's benefit. The workshops are not aimed at profit but rather to raise money for space costs. You determine your contribution amount.

If you need assistance in calculating an value for your contribution, we would like to invite you to ask yourself the following questions:

How can I contribute to new financial relationships being built around me?
 
What value do I consider fair to recognize financially the work proposed? 

What is my current financial situation?
 
Am I feeding what feeds me?

Please bring along the amount you wish to contribute in cash on the day of the workshop. We'll be sure to provide you with a donation receipt as proof of your contribution.

Participants are obliged to take care of the accident insurance. Grupo Oito e.V. as the organizer of the workshop points out that it is not responsible for the participants accident insurance.
