Bright Futures Dunklin R-5 is sponsoring the first-ever Blackcats Give Back Day. One of the pillars of Bright Futures is providing students opportunities for hands-on service learning. Our community partners are extremely important to the success of this event. Our community always generously provides support to the students of the Dunklin R-5 School District, and now it is our turn to give back! Blackcats Give Back is a day for Dunklin R-5 faculty and students to serve our community by helping you complete whatever has been sitting on your to-do lists!

We are reaching out to everyone, from small businesses to community members. Whether you need your lawn raked, your fence painted, some boxes moved, or sorted, we are here to help! If you have a small task or a larger project, sign up so we can get some students, staff, and families to help out.  

Blackcats Give Back projects take place between the hours of 10:00 am – 3:00 pm, this year on Saturday, May 1, 2021. Projects can be anything that supports the mission of your organization and can even have a combination of smaller projects on your organization’s "wish list." Please complete this project proposal form to be considered as a potential host site for Blackcats Give Back. Some things to note:
-Please try and limit projects to those that can be realistically completed in a few hours on one day.
-If you have supplies for your event that is great! If not we may be able to help provide supplies, just let us know in the form.
-The sky is the limit with projects! While we may not be able to fulfill all requests, feel free to request any help you need.
-We will be placing our volunteers on a first come first serve basis. We will do our best to fulfill all requests with volunteers; however, we cannot guarantee all projects will have support.
