NHFP Review Recommendations: Community Survey
In 2021, the NASA Astrophysics Division conducted the first review of its NASA Hubble Fellowship Program (NHFP) since the original Hubble Fellowship Program was created over 30 years ago. This review was intended to assist NASA in increasing the effectiveness of the program and bolstering its excellence. The purpose of this survey form is to obtain community input that will help guide NASA’s response to - and implementation of - the findings and recommendations of the review panel.

The Panel focused on two main areas:
1. Success of the NHFP under its current structure
2. Diversity, equity, and inclusion of the program

The report and thirty-two resulting recommendations can be found near the bottom of the webpage https://science.nasa.gov/astrophysics/documents

We want to hear from you about the recommendations made in the report!   We are not seeking new recommendations, but we solicit your input in the following areas:

Prioritization of the recommendations
Potential impact (positive or negative) of implementing the recommendations
Suggestions for how to implement the recommendations
Suggestions for how to keep the community informed and involved
Other comments you may have

We are especially interested in hearing from our early-career colleagues since you are the astronomers who have the most at stake. Most of the fields in the form are OPTIONAL and you can choose to comment ONLY on the recommendation areas that you are most interested in.

NOTE:  YOUR RESPONSES WILL BE ANONYMOUS UNLESS YOU CHOOSE TO PROVIDE YOUR NAME
