This form is for those who would be interested in having me create a digital drawing for them! I am currently accepting the commission types listed further below.

Please note that:
  • I can only take payment via PayPal at the moment. No cash, mail orders, or checks!
  • I work best when I have a fair amount of artistic freedom. If you have a very, very specific vision in mind then I might not be the best fit for you.
  • All prices are a starting point.
  • NOT first-come-first-served: I pick commission submissions based on what I feel would fit my current skill set. This round I'm keen on pieces that explore nature meshing with technology, but I am also open to other ideas!

COMMERCIAL WORK
If you are looking to hire me for commercial work [that is, work you will be profiting from] please don’t use this form, email me at commission.tombofnull@gmail.com instead, as my commercial rates might differ!
Things I can do for your business include:

  • Book cover illustrations
  • Album cover illustrations
  • Character illustrations
  • And more.

And no, I am not interested in participating in any NFT or AI related projects.

HOW IT WORKS
STAGE 1: This Form and Set Up
  • Fill out this form to the best of your ability and hit that submit/send button.
  • In 7-14 business days I will let you know if you got the slot! If not, I might offer to put you on a waitlist if I can squeeze you in at a later time. Note that being on the waitlist is not binding, nor does it lock in a price. Otherwise I will have to turn you down.

STAGE 2: Draft and Invoice
  • When I contact you, I will provide the draft [or an estimated date as to when I'll have your draft ready], your invoice, an estimated turnaround time, and I might request any additional information I might need from you.
  • Once you approve the draft and pay the invoice, we can move on to STAGE 3. However, you may also request edits before you approve of the draft and pay the invoice.

STAGE 3: I Get To Work
  • I get to work on your piece as soon as I can!
  • I then deliver your piece in the time frame given in STAGE 2. If by chance a delay occurs, I will do my best to inform you as soon as I am made aware of the delay. If the delay will be significant, I will usually offer to refund you.
  • You can track the progress of your piece via my TRELLO BOARD!

STAGE 4: Final Review
  • You will need to look over the finished piece to make sure things are looking good. You may also request edits, but if the edit is something that isn't a detail I missed in the given reference material, you might be charged extra to cover the time spent on the edit.
  • Once you approve of the finished piece, the commission is then considered completed!

STAGE 5: Done!
  • You may then share you shiny new commission where ever you wish with proper credit given, and you can use the piece for whatever so as long as it is for personal use only.
  • I might also share the work on my various online galleries, but bare in mind I tend to take my time, so no need to wait on me if you wish to post your piece sooner than later.
*PLEASE NOTE that anything with 'COLOR-SPOT' in the name will be using ONLY be using the Slime, Abyss, and Winter scheme this season.
Custom three-color palettes will cost extra.
EXPERIMENTAL HEADSHOT | $65 USD
SLOT SIZE: ⚫⚪⚪⚪ | LIMITED TIME. Avatars feature a framed headshot of your character, done in an a loose, experimental way. Features one of any color of client's choice. No edits. Specify accent color of choice in the "Additional comments" section at the end of the form.

SLOT SIZE: ⚫⚫⚪⚪ | A full body line art illustration of one character with no background, with some toning. Background and ink color for this season will be done in a color scheme akin to the palette for this season's Color-Spot pieces.

SLOT SIZE: ⚫⚫⚫⚪ | Limited color vignettes are illustrations featuring your character in full with some background details, done in a seasonal limited color scheme.

SLOT SIZE: ⚫⚫⚫⚫ + | Full color vignettes are illustrations featuring your character in full/mostly in full with some background details. These will be colored closer to true to your character’s reference sheet, though I may also create a version with somewhat duller and warmer colors for use in my portfolio. More complex the background/characters/props, higher the final price.

A "fancy" version with simple abstract background and texture overlay and a "artist-friendly" version without texture overlay for easy color referencing.
Price will depend on if you and I will be creating a new character design from scratch or just creating an updated reference of an already existing design with some tweaks, how detailed the character is, so on. If you are just looking to have a pre-existing reference sheet done with minimal changes to the character, just done in my art style, the price will very likely be much smaller than listed. Payment plans available.
